Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Shade Degree website (shadedegree.com), WhatsApp messaging service, or any of our social media platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Shade Degree provides:

• Free on-site measurement for window furnishings
• Custom curtains, blinds, and window treatments
• Professional installation services
• Consultation and quotation services

3. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are provided before GST and exclude installation unless otherwise stated
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD)
• Final price may vary based on actual measurements during installation

4. Orders and Payment

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order
• Balance payment is due upon completion of installation
• We accept bank transfer, PayNow, and major credit cards
• Installation dates are subject to product availability and scheduling

5. Lead Times

Estimated lead times:

• Stock fabrics: 7–14 working days
• Custom/imported fabrics: 21–35 working days
• Korean blinds: 14–21 working days

These are estimates only and may vary. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates.

6. Warranty

• Curatins and blinds: 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects
• Motorised systems: 24 months warranty
• Installation workmanship: 6 months warranty

Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by improper use or cleaning
• Fading due to prolonged sun exposure (natural occurrence)
• Water damage or mould from condensation

7. Returns and Refunds

• Custom-made products are non-returnable unless defective
• Defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion
• Refunds are only issued for products that cannot be repaired or replaced
• Cancellations after production has started will forfeit the deposit

8. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and property information
• Ensure access to the premises on scheduled dates
• Inform us of any specific requirements or constraints
• Not use our services for any unlawful purpose

9. Intellectual Property

• All content on shadedegree.com (images, text, logos) is owned by Shade Degree
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission
• User-submitted photos become our property for service purposes only

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
• We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. We are not responsible for their terms of service or content.

12. Dispute Resolution

For any disputes:

2. We will respond within 7 business days
3. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved through mediation in Singapore

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Singapore.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
